# JapanMove

> JapanMove is a trial public-data audit site. It compares published editions and reference dates for Toyama City's 2015, 2020, and 2025 Population Censuses and resident-register population records, with links to the underlying sources.

This site presents comparisons of published statistical records; it is not an official government source and does not determine misconduct, estimate a probability of fraud, or use accusation documents as population data. Census editions and reference dates are kept distinct. A difference between records alone does not establish its cause.

## What it does
- Shows Toyama City population observations by census edition and reference date.
- Separates preliminary census counts, basic tabulations, and resident-register records.
- Provides source links and record details for the displayed observations.
- Keeps public evidence about the reported case separate from the population calculations.

## What it does not do
- It does not provide nationwide origin-destination flows, maps, future population projections, or automated fiscal-impact estimates.
- It does not treat a statistical gap as proof of intent or misconduct.
- It does not use accusation documents to calculate population values.
